Large CNC Poly Intake

Outboard jet intake foot. CNC Machined from solid UHMW PE plastic. Otherwise known as a "Poly Foot". Replaces cast aluminum factory intake "Large Series" with flanged liner (not included). Also uses 9 OEM grill plates. This intake has the poly fins designed into the foot to help with cavitation on tunnel hull boats. Partial fin removal may be required on non tunnel hull boats. Also see design improvements listed below in red text.

 ****02/17/2011: Large poly intakes in stock. I have incorporated some improvements in the design. All intakes will include the grill bar retaining pins when shipped. The OEM pins will no longer work, however pin and grill bar removal and replacement should be easier. Also the new pins work with the OEM grill bars. We are also offering grill bars as well. The above pics. are the new design.

The Large foot is $350.00 +USPS Priorty rates and handling. Does not include grill bars or drop-in liner. Your OEM bars and liner fit this just the same.

Grill bar set for large intake (9 bars) $57.00 per set + shipping.

Grill bar set for Xl intake (10 bars) $63.00 per set + shipping.

Replacement retaining pin sets, either size intake. (2 pins, 1 short, 1 long. Includes self locking S.S. nuts. Note, these pins only fit our intakes) $24.00 per set + shipping.

If it does not fit your application, simply return the foot with the original invoice within 30 days in the condition you received it for a full refund of the purchase price. ($350.00)

XLarge CNC Poly Intake

Performance tested, same as stock intake with welded on fins. 

XL intakes currently out of stock as of 02/17/2011. Revised to include the new retaining pin design not shown in any of these pictures. Sorry just did not have time to get that done.

The “uhmw cnc poly intakes” are not guaranteed against any impacts. It should survive greater stress before failure on impact with underwater obstacles than the stock aluminum intake and should afford some shock protection on impact with underwater obstacles for the rest of the outboard. However, this protection is not guaranteed. Top Notch CNC Machining Inc. does not recommend running your jet outboard in less water than is safely required to clear all underwater obstacles. Also, partial fin removal may be required before running these intakes on non tunnel hull boats. Leading edge impacts on the fins may cause sever damage to the rest of the intake.
